Default Just wanted to thank Martin@Tick & Comp

Despite my indecision over the last couple months he was very helpful in getting me a cam based on my goals.

D1SC (custom lower location vette bracket)
347
A2A
LS2 intake
LT's w/ cats
317's with BTR duals
BTR SLR's and Comp Trunion Rockers
Sniffer approved
Quiet stable valve train

He specced me 227/239 .624/.620 118+6 HUC/QXX. I placed the order on the 4th of Feb and it arrived the 14th despite me being stationed in the Netherlands and USPS usually being slow as hell. I hear the weather in NC wasn't all that great either.

I have already degree'd the cam and it was well within tolerance.

In the past I ordered most of the parts for my T-56 rebuild from them and couldn't have been happier (except for a USPS snafoo that sent a 5th gear to Guam?....).

The car is certainly not finished and I'll try to update the post when I can but I just wanted to share my good experience.

Patrick

Thank you very much for the kind words. We've grown a lot in the past few years, but customer service is still and always will be number one for us at Tick.

I'm pretty sure my cam snuck out just before the storm hit and is the only reason I got it so fast.

Good luck on your build vette. My short block is in great shape and I'm trying to decide if I should forge it now it when the charger goes on or just run low boost for a while......what to do, what to do?

Ya you're right. I just don't have a machine shop so I have to do everything myself. Add on about $600+ in tools I don't already have.

Year round it is pretty much 4-8 business days from the date you place your order.

Your part number was TPMSCC-01000, but it was actually number 498.
