IAC's too low? Did I go to big with drill bit?
I drilled out the throttle blade a while back to get my new cam to idle (tsp 231/237). And I just did some loging tonight to try to get my car to stop stalling on me when I put it in gear. I found that my IAC's are in the 26 to 32 range at idle. Is this too low? Do you think I drilled to big ( 1/4" if I remember). IF so how can I get them back up.
Btw, I leaned it out on the lower end of the VE scale and it helped a bit. But I keep getting this " Idle higher than expected code". It idles around 900 and I never changed it with edit. Should I bump up the idle with edit and see if that helps? I don't really want it to idle any higher than it is.
THanks
Frank

yes, sounds like you went a little too big on the hole for the TB blade... don't worry though you can fix it... remove the blade and use JB Weld to seal up the hole... let it dry, smoth it out and just redrill smaller...
