Default opinions on gearing for FI

For the guys with trucks- I have a dilemma in the gearing dept. I had 4.10s, a tight 3200 stall, and a 4l80e trans. I switched out the gears to 3.42s and feel like maybe i lost some lowend power, but spools turbo faster. Tires are 30" tall, and am thinking of going back to the 4.10s. What do you guys think?

That's interesting, that's a great converter. Very tight 3200. It may seem sluggish due to it hanging in a gear longer, have you timed it vs the 4.10 config?

i have not timed it, but the seat of the pants felt better with 4.10s. I should probably send my converter back to get it loosened up?
