Default 4" single enough for 408?

I'm in the process of replacing my 346 with a 408. This thing is mainly for the track so I don't want to give up any power on the exhaust. I'm running a system basically the same as the mufflex. Will I be losing any power with the single system or should I invest in some cut outs or possibly go to duals? I still street drive it.

I would think just running some cutouts would be best since we are talking about mainly a track car here

There are guys making well over 1000whp through a T4 turbo and a single 4" exhaust.

You're N/A 408 won't need that much exhaust.

I'm running a dynomax bullet in the I pipe and a Magnaflow Bullet in the stock location.
