I am new to this site but I am just finishing up a 1948 chevy truck. I used a 2003 5.3 LS motor with the 4l60-e 4-speed with OD trans. I used a chevy 12 bolt rear end. Power breaks,steering,windows,and air. I also put power door lochs on it as well. If I can figure out how to put some pictures on here I will let them speak for themselves. Bill

Hello Bill great work on your truck and i would like to get more information. My name is Delaney and i also own a 1948 it came with the ls1 and auto transmission but the work was poorly done along with all body work this truck will take me at least one year before i can drive and another 2 before i call it completed.
