94 Trans Am LS1 SWAP w donor car. What else do i need? Hey fellas. i have a quick question with a simple answer. So i can get my hands on my buddies 98 Camaro Z28 that he crashed. everything is good, still runs and shifts but hes getting ride of it for $1500. It has like 150k and a 4l60E. I have a 94 Firebird Trans Am.
The question is em i good on swaping that LS1 into my 94 LT1. Ive done some reading so it seems like if i had a donor next to me the swap would go smoothly aside from the proper tune and custom Wiring. Em i right or em i missing something. Thanks guys much appriciated.

Check out the conversions/hybrids section. All kinds of swaps over there and I think a few similar to yours. But yes if you have the whole car you can swap that LS1 in there. At $1500 you'd be crazy not to buy it. The motor alone could fetch that if you sold it on CL.
