Default Twin IC and big red bypass

I've read a few threads pertaining to procharger twin IC setups and using the big red bypass. In these threads I've seen two places to mount the big red, one being on the "Y" at the discharge of the head unit and the other being on the aluminuim plenum. I'm asking for anyone who has run either of these setups to give some feedback on the pros and cons of where you decided to place the valve.
I.E. Heat soak the IC, trouble tuning with the MAF, blowing dust off the road into the engine bay etc. Any and all info and is much appreciated

Thanks Jason
