Default Which PS Cooler for Auto-X/HDPE? Plate style vs tube/fin?

I have an '02 WS6 that I am preparing for auto-x/HDPE track events. I would like to delete the factory PS cooler and add an aftermarket. It seems like Permacool 1004 (tube and fin frame mount) is used and B&M 70265 (Plate style) is also used. Any experiences and/or recommendations?

I use the plate style B&M. They are more effective than the tube & fin. No more cooking fluid with the factory cooler.

Which size plate style did you get? Where do you have it mounted? Picture? Thanks!

I'll move this to the General Maintenance section as we've had a bunch of conversation on this over there

Same here, stacked plate IS the way to go!

Mine is mounted right behind the driver's side fog light opening (Z/28).
