DW301 Came With The Wrong Fuel Filter
Hi all,
I have decided to upgrade my fuel pump on my 2004 CTS-V. Started the project about an hour ago. Everything was going great until I went to put the new DW301 pump and filter in and noticed the filter is different. The new filter just sits flat at the bottom of the pump and the old went through a 90degree curve. I know on option is to buy a new filter tomorrow from the dealer, but id like to get this done tonight without having to buy a new filter. Has anyone ran into this problem?
P.S. when I say 1 hour of time in the fuel pump swap, I did cut an access door under the back seat.
