Default VRSC780+ White C7 Build Thread - CNC Ported LT1 Heads, Cam, Blower, and More!

If you're a fan of show AND go, this one is for you!

A first time customer to the Vengeance Racing crew, Tom brought us his immaculate C7 to build a car with serious performance and killer looks. White, black, and bling were the name of the game, as Tom was looking to top his previous C6 builds with something more modern and over the top...

Take one part polished blower, one part VR heads/cam, and one part attention to detail, and you've got a recipe for show winning

Coming to us from New Orleans, Tom's ride was delivered in tip top shape and we dug in and documented that transformation right away. After settling in on the VRSC780 package with some additional modifications along the way, we knew that Tom would end up with a powerful 'vette that also drove with perfect street manners.

Tearing into the C7 engine bay starts with draining all of the fluids, disconnecting the battery, and removing the airbox.

Unlike previous Corvette generations, installing a camshaft requires dropping the front k-member out of the way, so that the oil pan assembly can be properly lowered away from the engine.

Deleting the Displacement On Demand (DOD) lifters to install the larger camshaft requires removing the cylinder heads and while they were off...

...we decided to install a set of Vengeance Racing CNC-ported LT1 cylinder heads.

And just for good measure, a polished A&A Supercharger system

Did we mention show AND go?! Well, check out the polished LMR breather tank, polished blow off valve, and polished piping to go along with the new system.

Thanks for all the kind words guys! The C7 is a truly amazing car, but there is a lot of untapped performance potential.
