I heard so much about the Gen II 350 series, that I purchased a 1979 Camaro RS roller and decided to try installing a LT-1 from a 1996 Impala SS with a 4 speed manual transmission behind it. I could use information on if it's possible to modify the harness yourself or is it better to send it out along with the PCM and have the PCM Modified and the harness stripped down and prepped for installation of the engine. Long way to go before engine is ready as car body needs painted and parts required for swap procured. If anyone has had good service with a shop that can modify my harness and PCM, please let me know. I look forward to "meeting" folks with the same interest here.
