trying to make decision on cylinder head YSI 388ci
this is a 98% drag car so it will hardly be driven on the street. its got a solid roller 112 LS 248/256 cam. looking at AFR 210 head and its $2,000 shipped. I was running ported stock heads but guy went too far and toasted them. any recomendations, or ideas? also I heard not to pay the extra $600 for comp porting cause there aint much difference... im not stuck on AFR as well so any good info would be appreciated... YSI is running on 19 PSI and I am using built T400 trans.... its going on a vortech YSI race setup so that's why I posted in forced induction

There must be near a dozen makes of heads ?
If it's race only, then the larger heads will probably be of some benefit. If you dont have an intake yet, you could maybe even step up to some of the square port heads, as they often seem to flow far bigger numbers.
Assuming they will work ok with your bore size.

Make sure that the valve lengths and installed heights are correct for your solid roller set-up.
We just used a set of TEA/TFS 220cc CNC heads on a 356 c.i. S480 LT1 we built. Very impressed with them. Made 855/820 on 19psi and an extremely safe tune. Hydraulic roller motor with a 228/232 .618/.625 lift 115 cam.
