Question Cam for a 400-600 mile a week driver.

I have a 2000Z28 and am looking for a Cam to put in . What are most guys running not to cause problems all the time. Like the title says I drive alot and it wont be slowing down anytime soon. Any suggestions would be appreciated! Car has vig 3200 and Mac headers and slp dual dual.

Thanks

tsp 224
comp224
fm4 226/226
ect.

"not to cause problems" is subjective and relative. you'll need to be more specific on what you are going to do with the car and what you want from it. research, research, research

I have the LG g5x2 in my car and drive it everyday. I have no problems at all, and drive about the same amount as you.

The car is taken to the track everyonce in a while. My problem is that I think my car has run out of umph at the track. I havent had it tuned yet but am planning on doing it. At the track Im running about 12.7 @104. It needs more Hp! I dont want to have to change springs every 10,000 miles like some people do but just good raw power thats streetable!

Thanks

Personally, I'd be looking at the relatively lower lift cams from Comp... but I'm still pretty green at all of this.

Also add to that list TSP's new 225 cam, you can see results from it in the dyno forum. Considering you are running a vig3200 I wouldn't go too big on the cam size.
