Lq4 with LS3 top end
Anyone running a turbo LQ4 or LQ9 with a LS3 intake and heads? I've been thinking of a combo.
2000 Camaro
Stock LQ4
LS3 factory intake
LS3/L92 factory heads
Small turbo cam
BW S480, 92-96mm, 1.32 a/r
TH400 with 3200-3600 converter
3.23 gears
Supporting Fuel system, etc

I ran a Procharger on a 6.0, LS3 heads/intake, Fast 92 MM TB
the heads really woke the engine up
if you are using a drive by cable TB, try and get the L76 intake (or whatever they call it) as the LS3 intake was used on a drive by wire TB, so it doesn't have the threaded area to mount a bracket for the throttle cable
not a big deal, I made my own, and they may be one someone is making now
the GM 3 bar map sensor fits the LS3 intake, #12592525
you need offset rockers on the intakes, stock rockers on the exhaust
great heads for the money-I installed Comp. cams springs, as the stock ones are limited on lift
the heads really woke the engine up

I have an 05 LQ4 shortblock with LS3 heads/intake/LS2 TB.
S476/80E.
No final power #'s, it made 450 on 6# @ 10:1 A/F. Ironing out a few bugs and it will go back for the finish tune and #'s at 10-11#.
