Default How to measure pinion ange etc?

Swapping out my T56 for a TH400 and Im about to mount it up. Ill be reusing the stock crossmember after modifying it a bit with some slots Im drilling into it. As far as the angles go, how do I go about making sure everything is where it needs to be? Ill use shims on the crossmember mount to get the longitudinal alignment I need, and can move the crossmember side to side if needed.
