I decided to send my heads to Ai this winter so I bought a slightly bigger cam to take advantage of them. I'm getting rid of my current parts for new ones. All parts have about 10K miles on them. The cam is a custom Comp grind in XER lobes. Specs are 230/232 .591"/.595" 111*. With my old set up (LS6 intake, stock 243 heads, 1 & 3/4" Kooks with cats) it made 391 rwhp & 378 rwtq on a dynojet. The torque curve was crazy flat. It made 350 rwtq @ 3,000 RPM. Peak power was about 6,100 RPM. Dyno graph:








In full disclosure, I scratched one lobe taking it out of my engine. I took it to an engine building shop in my area to have them check it out and they said they would run it in their personal engines without hesitation and gave me a little emery paper to smooth it out. You can feel it but there are no sharp edges and my fingernail does not catch in it. Here are pictures of that lobe. It looks worse than it actually is.
