Billet fuel rail return fitting question/ opinions
I have a LQ4 swapped into my 95 BMW and I'm using aftermarket fuel rails. The inlets to both rails are at the front, outlets at the rear. The driver side fuel rail doesn't have enough clearance to run an AN to NPT to 90 degree an fitting (hits firewall/ heater blower cover.
I have been able to get an NPT to brass "T" block to fit. It also allows both return lines to "T" together and have one outlet. I don't think its optimal for flow, but will it work OK? Im trying to stop over thinking this, it hasn't been easy! Any experiences, ideas and opinions are appreciated.

Thanks for the heads up. There is a little bit of room to shorten the rail, but it's not significant. If I use an AN 90* it has to be compatible with the Teflon lined hose. I have been unsuccessful in finding one that has NPT on the side normally associated with threading on to the AN adapter.

That npt on the rails is something I've never understood. I've had several come to the shop, that leaked, split the rail, had to be welded in...

There is room to gain 1/2" with trimming. Then you could get creative and weld the fitting into the rail flush so that it only sticks out as far as it has to.
Send me the rail and I'll fix it up for you. Unless you wanna keep on worrying and talking about it.

I think Earl's and Aeromotive makes O Ring Boss to -6 or-8 an 90 degree elbows. Might be able to run a crossover line with them.
