Unfortunitly, most aftermarket brake components considered "stock" upgrades are thicker then stock. Since the calipers are floating, they can move into an interference position.

I suppose you could look at it from a positive notion, as if you had other rims on the car, you would have to do more work to get the rims to fit. Your post could read differently with welds for example...."I've grinded and grinded, and can't grind no more...what do I do".

You could use a spacer, but I would advise against it. Put a piece of tape on the caliper edge install the wheel and turn it slowly...you'll see where you need to grind. It shouldn't be too much that is needed to be removed. You need only ~2mm or so clearance.

Email or call me if you need additional guidance.

I had to run the grinder on mine up front. Took just a couple of minutes. Go slow, and keep checking. It was cake, compared to when I got my first set of Welds. I used spacers up front (dangerous) and had to grind the royal **** out of my rear calipers. My mechanic scolded me for running spacers, and proclaimed that the setup on the front end was "unsafe" at any speed.

Now its safe and legal! My Bogart D-10's are awesome.

Bogarts are bitchin' wheels aint they! Never been so impressed with a set of rims, not to mention the prestige of being one of the very few guys in town to have them.

Our calipers are "floating"

Thicker pads and rotors push the face of the caliper further out towards the wheel.
