Default 6.0/4L80 in Jeep TJ, which mods would you make to motor ?

Hey all, thinking about installing a 6L/4L80 with a ford 8.8 rear in a 2000ish Jeep TJ. They weigh around 3000lbs and the conversions are common...

http://www.novak-adapt.com/knowledge/tj_swap.htm

I'd like to know what year 6.0 I should get and the cheapest/easiest bang-for-the-buck mods would be...I'm thinking a good converter and ?
Keep in mind this will be a daily driver and they already make 360+ hp (in a short wheelbase 3000lb Jeep) so no wild cams or power adders lol.
thanx for any input, help,suggestions.

Honestly I would put a good CAI and headers and leave it at that. Maybe a LS6 intake is you needed clearance.

Not sure where my original reply went but I'll try tj remember the questions I read.

My jeep is an 06 LJ Rubicon, kept the 241OR transfer case, motor is an 04 LQ9 rebuilt with forged mahle internals, z06 cam, PRS stage 2.5 6.0 heads.

I went with the Fast LSXRT intake, LS2 Throttle body, Fast 46lb injectors, walbro 255 in tank pump, custom 3" air I ntake, Sanderson headers and a custom 3" single stainless exhaust with a hi flow cat and magnaflow muffler.

Trans has an HD2 kit, I'd recommend the jake over Transgo just because this one is aggressive and I'll he swapping it out soon.

I used a Speartech harness and went with a 12 volt unlimited instrument cluster with autometer sport comp 2 programmable gauges.

Novak: engine mounts, lokar shifter, novak tcase linkage, novak radiator/shroud and spal fan.

If you love down south in the heat I personally would just do a custom davis racing radiator and source a lincoln mark viii fan.

The only issue I had with the swap was heat on the freeway when it's 90+ outside,

Imc currently waiting on novak to send me a larger replacement radiator which I'll be swapping at the same time I do the lincoln fan install and ditch their shroud/spal fan.

For your cam choice I'd stick with one with a 220@.05") or less intake duration. Your intended usage of vehicle will dictate the optimal cam size/specs. For a TC stall 2600-3200, depending on you cam choice.
