Default tire/wheel height 17" vs 18"

well im pulling the stock ws6 wheels off today and was thinkin while there off i might lower it some more.. i do have a pro kit.. but want almost no wheel well gap.. but keeping in mind im getting my 18" wheels with 295/35/18 tires would anyone no if there gona be overall taller wheel/tire then stock? that way it'll fill the wheel well gap? cuz once i got the wheels off i can get at the springs.. rather then putting it all together and taking it apart again.. so basicly just curios if n e one has measured the height difference when switching from 17's to 18's thanx

With that setup (295/35/18) you'll be perfectly fine. No overall height differance.

Actually the 295/35-18 tire is roughly 1/2" taller than your stock 275/40-17.
But even with that height difference you can still be lowered probably 1.5 inches and not have problems on the back.
On the front you might run into some rubbing problems with that wide of a tire in turns.
Maybe consider a 275/35-18 tire for the front... even that may rub just ever so slightly in turns when lowered 1.5" or more, but it should't be a problem.
