I have for sale my black 2000 Camaro Z28. It is a 6-speed, t-top car. The car is as close to stock as you are likely to find with an f-body, as the only modifications are an adjustable Borla catback exhaust and a UMI short stick shifter. If you are the type of person that likes to build a car themselves to ensure that things are done the right way, then this car would be a perfect starting point. It has very low miles at around 61000 and is in great overall mechanical and physical condition. I am the third owner, and in the 20 months I have owned it, absolutely NOTHING has gone wrong with it. It is in need of absolutely nothing mechanically. The title is clean with no accidents or other issues.
I am an honest and straight-forward person, and this ad will reflect that by detailing even the smallest of issues or even possible future issues.
Good:
- Starts every time, engine runs extremely strong
- Always ran with 93 octane fuel
- Clutch grabs hard, no sign of needing replacement
- Oil always changed with full synthetic every 4500 miles or 6 months
- Unlike many LS1's, this engine consumes no noticeable amount of oil (on the dipstick)
- Transmission fluid changed 3000 miles ago
- All electronics and components in working condition
Bad:
- Occasionally, brakes squeak faintly, pads may need replaced in next few thousand miles
- Front right turn signal intermittently works, am actively trying to resolve the issue
Exterior
Good:
- Overall very good condition for a 14 year old car, always garaged
- Always 2-bucket washed, or rinseless washed by me, never taken to carwash
- Absolutely no signs of rust developing anywhere
- Clean underbody
- Windows tinted 35% all around, with 6" windshield strip
- Zero leaking from t-tops or any other exterior seal
Bad:
- Scratch pictured on passenger quarter-panel, does not catch on finger nail, could be wet-sanded
- Was hit in hit and run incident above rear, passenger wheel arch by unknown white car. About 1/4" deep crease
- There are 2 very un-noticeable door dings
Interior
Good:
- Overall in fantastic condition
- No staining on carpets, no discoloration of leather, no fading or cracking of plastics
- All buttons and switches work as intended
- Air conditioning is cold, heat is hot
- Hard-wired Escort Passport radar detector will also be included, very clean install
- Speakers all sound awesome, fronts replaced with Infinity component speakers
Bad:
- Very small tear in rear of passenger seat as pictured
- Aftermarket stereo pictured will likely not be included, stock stereo will likely be re-installed
- Passenger window motor has always worked, but does move more slowly than the driver window. Not sure if this is normal or signs of future failure
Hit and run incident: I have not gotten a quote yet for the damage, but may if there is enough interest in having me do so.
I also have all four GM F-body factory service manuals (massive books, hugely helpful), which are worth a decent amount of money, alone.
I have access to the car's InstaVIN report. Contact me if you are interested in seeing that.
I currently go to school at the University of Missouri -- Columbia, so the car will be garaged here in Columbia.
I am asking $7,700 OBO
I am sure I am forgetting things, so please contact me via PM or email with any questions at brentjr10@gmail.com

Psh 6 hours is nothing.. haha. I do have family in the St. Louis area though which is a little closer if you're serious. Also family in Peoria, so I'll definitely let you know if I'm up there before it sells
