Default Factory pushrods are how strong/weak?

I have been spinning mine to 6700 for quite some time now. TR224 and 918's with no problems.

Do i HAVE to change them? I am going to a larger cam and double springs? Is this a no no? I like them as a "fuse" of sorts..info please.

Might as well switch to better/stronger pushrods when doing a cam swap, especially if you rev that high.

yes

and you deffinatly need to have hardend pushrods or you are risking a big accident with that much seat pressure at those rpms.
