Default Up For Sale: 05 Phantom Black GTO, 6spd

Year: 2005
Make: Pontiac
Model: GTO
Price: $17900
Mileage: 95000
Private or Dealer Listing: Private Listing
Location (State): AL
Color: Black

Good amount of mods. Great car. I love her, and hate to see her go (just like everyone else says), but I'm really tired of being in debt. So, my loss is someone else's gain. Lol

I am asking $17,900

95k miles on the Odo, less than 10k on motor and trans.

Theres a lot to this car, and It has over $15k in aftermarket stuff.... but I will entertain offers, and I will work with someone, if they really do want to buy it. While I don't NEED to sell, I WANT to sell it quickly.

Text or call me at 636-544-44nine threee

Overall, it is in good shape, with some of the typical blemishes you would see on a 9 year old GTO.

Mods, goodies, and such:
PRC stage 2.5 LS6 heads, with .675 springs, titanium retainers, new seals, etc.
FAST102 intake manifold
Svede OTR CAI
Pacesetter Longtubes, coated by JetHot
Offroad-mids
SLP LM1 catback, with X-pipe
PatG Custom Grind Cam (228/230 .613/.609 113+2 LSA)
LS7 Lifters, Hardened Pushrods, Upgraded Trunnions (all the things to support the cam)
Katech C5R timing chain set
ARP Bolts/Studs on bottom end
SLP Underdrive Pulley
Billet Pro Short Throw
Tick Speed Bleeder
Tick Master Cylinder
Full Lovells Springs-Shocks-Struts (raked look, as you will see in pictures)
Drag Bags (though one seems to be pinched on the line)
LS7 Clutch (I have a McLeod RST, as well, that I may throw in with sale, or put in car for sale)
LS9 injectors
VMR V710 wheels, 18x8.5 up front, 18x9.5 in rear
275/35-18 R888s in rear, and I also have some BFG Drag Radials that have never been used
4300k Bright White HID kit from Diode Dynamics
5% tint on all sides, and rear window
35% tint on windsheild

*Pioneer DDX470 in-dash touchscreen tuner (Though that may be removed and replaced with stock stereo at sale, we can work it out)
*SCSS GaTOr pod, center dash pod with Wideband AFR and Interceptor ScanGauge (as with stereo receiver, I was kinda wanting to keep this)

Stock wheels with winter tires will come with it, too, as well as stock wing

Put together by Chad Barton @ CBI Streetcars, and tuned by Dave Steck @ DSX Tuning
It made 430whp/390wtq on the dyno, before the heads and fast102. I believe an estimate of around 470whp was made, but I cant be sure.

The Good:
The Car runs its dick off. Built and tuned by the right guys, who have a reputation for making some amazing cars.

Fantastic daily and interior. I have a lengthy commute, which I why I bought a GTO. If I didn't trust the car to get me to work in the morning, I wouldn't still have it.

Motor and Trans are fresh. They have both been gone thru within the last 10k miles.

90% of the miles were highway cruising miles. Long commute and road trips.

I can and will get the safety inspection done if you want/need it (and if you need it, I can get the emissions one done for St Louis area).

Looks and sounds amazing. A lot of complements and head turns. People have said the cam PatG gave me is the best they've heard. People that have said they dislike GTOs have complemented it as one of the few they do like.

Does not have any tears in the rear seats, which is a common problem on these cars.

Tinted all the way around. no headaches or glare.

The Bad:
Your typical stuff. Its got 95k miles, so theres some rockchips and such.

Headliner is falling, just like all the other GTOs. I can get a replacement for you.

Right front wheel is scuffed from being loaded onto my narrow trailer on the way back from TX2k14 (we can prolly get that fixed for the buyer, though)

Motor consumes a little oil. . . ..You still here and not going freaking out? Good. Listen to the details: It eats about a quart every 4-500 miles. This started 18 months ago when I had it rebuilt, following a lifter giving out. I didn't feel comfortable just throwing another lifter and cam in and driving it "patched up". So we took it all the way down. I didn't have a single problem. . . except. . .
Oil consumption started post-rebuild, and was limited to one side of the engine. We replaced valve seals, and didn't fix it. Machine shop fully warrantied and took the motor down and redid it all. They couldn't find anything wrong, but stood by their work and redid everything. Got the car back. . . and it didn't fix it. This is a company that regularly builds very high hp cars, with no problems, so I know they did a good job. At this point, we believe it to be the heads, as it cant be the bottom end that was meticulously put back together.
*If you are in STL, you can still take it down and have the heads swapped to 243s for a minute while the PRCs are sent back to TSP.

The car has gotten me to and from work, every day since then, without a problem.

Attached are some pictures. Any Picture without the darker tint is from before I re-tinted the vehicle last winter.
