Anyone running a TCI built 4L60E (StreetFighter 371016)?
I'm looking for a automatic (with OD) transmission for my LS3 based 416 engine, but since I'm out side US and don't want to spend $$$ for shipping a new transmission all the way, so I'm limited to buy one from Summit Racing since they are charging the cheapest shipping cost. I found the strongest 4L60E they carry is the one from TCI :

they are stating that it would handle 575 hp, which is roughly what my engine would put to the crank, and its a reasonbly priced as well. What do you think about this transmission?
Please don't propose to get a 4L80 instead, I want the lightest OD automatic.
TIA,,,
Manufacturer's Part Number: 371016
Part Type: Automatic Transmissions
Product Line: TCI StreetFighter Transmissions

At best this looks like a Level-2 4L60E that you could buy from PerformaBuilt or FLT for $1800 (when you don't have a core), marked up to $2425. Contact those two companies to see what their shipping costs to you would be.
BTW - The TCI Streetfighter converters are very low quality, definitely avoid those.

STAY AWAY from the TCI Streetfighter converter. I am only making around 400hp. Mine only lasted 2 months, when it went it took the whole trans with it and their warranty is worthless. I would not buy anything from TCI because of their warranty.
