I usually am running Pro Stars on some DR's around town, but for long trips i'll toss on some cheap salad shooters with good all weather tires on them. Do the 1/2 (or maybe i'm thinking 5/8") studs fit on the stock rim or do I have to hone out the middle a bit? and where did you get lug nuts for them then? autozone/checker/napa carry anything? They are extended studs and i don't care about them sticking out.

1/2" studs will work fine with stock wheels, you'll need 1/2" "acorn" lugnuts, open ended. They are like .79 each or something like that, rediciliously cheap. 5/8" studs will not come close to working with stock wheels.
