Default AC Not working. May need new compressor.

My AC went out a couple of months ago. Haven't had much time to get under the car to check it out. I know there could be a couple things that are minor like the accumulator switch not working or low freon causing switch to shut system off. But what I wanted to ask is have you guys experienced any compressor problems or heard of the ACs going out too soon in the LS1s? Mine is a 99 and the compressor should not be going out. Actually, the switch shouldn't of gone out either. Any suggestions shoot me an email: breese@fountainpeople.com Thanks guys.

Default Re: AC Not working. May need new compressor.

the most common problem is a leak. Low refrigerant pressure no a/c operation . See if it is charged.
