Replacing Rear End - Tips and Prep? What to do while out???
Finally found a rear to replace my current one!
I would like to know any tips and tricks to removing and replacing it; writeup threads and the like.
I would also like to know what I should do to it while I have it out. One thing Ive heard is welding the housing for a little added strength. I have a couple of sources for welding, just don't know what to weld. Another item is a strengthened cover? Also, Bumpstops or other bushings?
Im going to be doing the heater hose mod. 1/2" x 3' hose for each side, correct?
Mind you all parts must be available by JYard or Auto stores as I am doing this Saturday and of course any online order wouldnt be delivered till next week.
Any help greatly appreciated!

Other questions still stand.
Would like to replace the lugs bolts on the axles. How to properly do this?
Also, what can I do to really clean out the rear end of all debris? Could I brake cleaner? Harm the clutches?
