Default Stripped oil pump!

I think I screwed the pick up tube bolt in to tight and may have stripped the whole on the oil pump. What do I do? Buy another oil pump? Help!

I would just buy another oil pump if I were you. You can get an LS6 pump at the nearest dealership for 85 bux

Oh, nad next time remember to only tighten that pickup tube bolt to 9-10 ft-lbs.

No offense to the original poster - but that has to be one of the funniest typo's I've seen in a while.

I agree on the typo, LOL.
Hamrhead, buy another oil pump and definitely watch the torque. I have a good manual with all the torque specs if you want some copies. FYI, I have a brand new stock pump you can have for $55 plus shipping from ABQ, NM, 87114. I bought it with the intentions of modding it but slacked off and bought a ported/blueprinted one later for $135.
Let me know if you are interested.
