Default Converter for future turbo car

I am wondering if a converter that's meant for boost would be ok to run in a N/A car that has a stock cam. I will be installing a built 4l80 into my 01 formula, I plan on running the car N/A for a couple years then swapping a 6.0 with a turbo in it. This car will not be my DD. Was wanting a pro yank converter but not sure how that would work with my N/A car. Plan was to get that converter and it will be there whenever I did my turbo build.

Typically the boost converters are tighter than one for a naturally aspirated setup, so it won't light your world on fire without the power adder, but it will work fine. That said, we have a trade in program. We can offer you $200 credit toward a new converter if you send in your 3000 Circle-D.
