Default Monsoon HUs different in Camaros and Trans Ams ?

Is there a difference in Monsoon HUs for a Camaro and a Trans Am ?

Yes. They look different and have a couple different features. The Firebird headunit has an EQ and the Camaro Headunit has speed variable volume. They can be swapped though (I think). The connections on the back should be the same.

isn't EQ the thing where you choose, rock, classical, etc. And it changes the way the music sounds? Because my z28 has that feature as well as speed variable sound.

No, the Firebird equalizer is a set of sliders to adjust tone over 7 bands. The Camaro has the preset EQ settings but otherwise just has normal tone controls.

Also, as VIP1 said, they look different - the Camaro unit is black with green illumination while the Firebird unit is gray with orange illumination.

Camaro has presets and the Firebird has a 7-band EQ
