Timing retard problem, Help.
I have adjusted my timing table. Using the G/cyl =15 * (MAF / RPM), method. However, my timing has stayed the same. I have the timing set at 25* but, it still stays at 29*. 29* on a 175 shot with pump gas is not good.
Any suggestions?

Suggestions:
1) Read the PCM and check to make sure the tune is what you think its supposed to be.
2) The g/cyl with N2O should be higher than N/A, but you should probably retard the timing down into the N/A region some to be safe.
3) If you are spraying a dry shot through the MAF, the cold N2O will make the IAT sensor think its freezing cold outside and add some timing. Check the timing versus IAT table.
4) Does the 2002 flash have the timing adjustment turned on for EQ ratio vs. RPM? This table might also be related to your issue.
hope this helps some

It has a wet shot on it now but, I will spray a dry shot too after the timing is fixed. I am using a Tech 2 so I cannot share my data.
Where would the EQvsRPM table be at?

In LS1Edit (v1.3 and newer) there is a table in the Engine/Ignition tab for EQvsRPM timing adjustment.

High Octane Spark Advance table, is what I am using. Maybe I need to update my LS1Edit. I don't know what version I am using.
I have used the IATvsMAP table to retard 4* at full throttle, it is a BS way of "fixing" the problem but, it works.
