Default Paint on hood hazing?

Hey guys, hows it going? I have a 6-speed 99 TA WS6 with the basic SLP under the hood mods and a loudmouth catback. I was washing the old girl the other day and I noticed the paint between the ram air scoops in the middle of the hood is hazing I believe is the word. It's a black car but in that spot its starting to look grey. I wash it about twice a week and wax it every couple of months. It has about 72,000 miles on it. Is that a common problem/normal wear and tear? Maybe a heat problem? I believe it's still under warranty, the best warrenty they offer at the dealer, should I pitch a bitch and see if they can fix it? Thanks a lot for your help!
