Default Thinking of buying 275/50r16 Hoosier Drags for stock 02 SS

I'm rolling on my 19s right now and my girlfriend(CamaroWhit) is rolling on my stock 17 inch chrome ten spokes. I have decided to use her 16 inch stockers. No one offers a wide drag radial in a 16. I can go with a Nitto 245/50r16 or BFG 255/50r16, but I want to go wider.

If I want a wide drag radial, I'll have to buy a set of rear wheels. I want to avoid this.

This has brought me to contemplate buying Hoosier R3S03 275/45zr16 slicks.

What do you guys think about this? Will these be too sticky to where I will experience issues? Thanks

Nitto 245/50/16's should provide enough traction for you. I've seen 1.60 60'ers on this size.

How much power are you making? If you cant get traction with this tire, then ET streets are the only way to go.
