Default Slow Formula?

A friend of mine has a 98 formula. The mods are ASP pulley,FRA,Grott headrers no cats,Flowmaster catback,Vig. 3200,Nittos and the race weight is 3340.The best the car went last night was 12.8@107 1.9 60' as the night went on the car got slower the trap speed dropped to 105.The car got a 1.7 60' but still only went 12.8@105.
I know the car isn`t running that bad but we were hoping for low 12`s.The 107 trap speed isn`t that bad but why did it lose trap speed as the night went on.Could the tranny be going?
Any help would be great. Thanks Steve

I have no idea what is wrong with the car. But the ET should be better with the mods. The MPH in the ET should be 108 to 110 range especially with a 1.70 60'. Is the car shifting at the right RPM's? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" />

I didn`t drive the car myself but he did tell me it hits the rev limiter on both shifts.

He needs to play with shift points.

Does he have a tranny cooler? He needs one. If he does not have one he should change the fluid because it might be burnt.

1.7 60ft? He's got something wrong or is spinning. That Vig should cut mid 1.6's when traction is good.

If he's running a Hypertech.. have him put the shiftpoints back to stock, may have then way out of "wack"
