Track only? BFG DR are by far better for track use only over Nittos DR. For street/track Nittos are better. Reason: The BFG's hook better at the track and aren't worth a **** in the rain. Nittos will hook OK at the track, but work much better in the rain that the BFG's. Either one go at least with 275's. What kind of wheel are you going to put them on?

Or just go ET Streets - track only.

Good Luck

David

If you're looking for an alternative tire to these two, I recommend the new Toyo RA-1 competition tire. It's softer than the Nitto, but with more tread (8/32") I can leave a stoplight at full throttle with these tires, and that's with a 3.23 geared A4 LT1. I easily expect to see 1.8 60fts or better when I get a good day at the track. These tires are Z rated and come in quite a few sizes. Here's the link:

If you're gonna drive on the street/track (like your daily driver) get Nittos. Weekend driver/track car, get BFGs. Don't use ET Streets unless you have a death wish for you 10bolt.

I ran ET Streets on a 10 bolt..Without any problems? ANY tire that hooks has a potential of breaking the rear.

Like said above. BFG's if they are for the track only.. they are worst in the rain than ET Streets! (from experience). But if this is the case (race only).. I suggest ET Streets.

If your looking for a great all around street strip tire.. then go with the Nitto's. Just remember at the track to treat them like slicks.. lower the pressure and heat them good.
