Default Oxygen Sensor

First of all excellent site

My trouble with my passenger side o2 started when i put in my slp headers. When i was putting them it felt like the clip was stuck to the body so i left it there First drive out the primary header the one that wraps at a 180 turn melted it right where the harness connects to the o2 sensor and seems to connect into the transmission. Well i got it fixed but the light keeps coming on. My question is what is the most practical way to fix this. Its causing the car to feel weak at take off. I am going to autozone to get the code, but in the mean time i hope i can get some ideas. dont wanna go to the dealership dont even know if they will work on it since it has no cats/o2 sim out here in Ca. thanks

oh and how do change my avatar and sig

I would check for these if its an 02 sensor code.

1) Burnt Wires somewhere in the Harness
2) Exhaust leaks

Best of luck
