et streets need bolted to rim? beadlock?
I read somewhere about a guy somehow drilling his 16" stock rim and tapping the holes along the outer lip of the rim so keep the tire from spinning from the rim. is this needed?

I was planning on looking for a shop to do this for me in the next couple weeks. I believe it is NHRA rules not to mention a good idea.

I can do it at work if all they are doing is drilling holes along the outside and tapping them and screwing bolts in against the bead?????
I am thinking of doing mine with 1/4" bolts?

Mark your rear rim/s with a white marker against each tyre. Then after a hard launch, check to see if the mark has moved in relation to the wheel. If it hasn't, you don't need the screws. If it has, you need the screws. Eight per side, 16 per wheel, 32 screws needed, use Moroso's screw's, they are made for the job. Drill every second screw from directly outside the wheel, every other second screw at a 45 degree angle into the bead. No problem, you can do it yourself. I've done it lots of times on my race cars in past.... <img border="0" alt="[Burnout]" title="" src="graemlins/burnout.gif" />
