Unhappy Odd spool characteristics?

After blowing out my second locker in the 9" a few months ago I went with a spool setup. The chirping tires in parking lots were a nuisance but no big deal. Then one day a few weeks back I took a turn a little bit faster than usual and everything changed. Now it goes clunk-clunk-clunk around turns and the center console hops up and down (not violently like on a 7k clutch dump, but definitely not right). Any thoughts on what the hell happened?

Still goes perfect in a straight line.

Something probably loosened up, LCA, panhard bar, torque arm or the driveshaft is rubbing on something. Could even be a tire rubbing, the whole rear will try to go straight when you go around a corner so if anything is close side to side it may rub.

Could be a bearing in the rear or the pinion loosened up also, got to start checking things..

I have the same problem. Basically what i have found is the spool on a daily drive plays hell on your stock tranny mount. It will wear it out in no time. Sounds strange but after i replace mine...the vibration goes away for a couple of weeks. just depends on how much tight turning you do.

Mine makes some funny noise as well. it makes a clunk like a locker unlocking, i think it is just the spool beating the hell out of everything inside while turning, and it is normal. mine has done it for a while now. who knows?
