Has anyone painted the outlines piece above the tailpipes? I have a pewter car and thought about painting that piece a medium gray color to match the second stripe I have on the fenders (see pic). What do you think? Any similar pics?

The 02 yellow collector edition had black above the tailpipes so something similar has been done. If you painted them gray I would think it would be hard to tell if they were even painted at all with your pewter paint. Maybe go for the black to match the front stripe instead.

I painted mine black and havent seen anyone else with this on a non-special edition. I love it! It makes the stock paint look extremely boring. I also painted the top black (the piece behind the t-tops). I will try to take some pics tomarrow.

ya black tops are definately nice as well. i always liked how they did this with the Camaros until the last couple years when they were body color. i've also thought about the side view mirrors, making them black that is.

An old friend of mine had a pewter T/A WS6, and he painted his b-pillar and rear view mirrors black. It looked really good. It would look especially good with the black rear portion.

Do it, man, I think it looks awesome. You've seen the GMMG Blackbird, right?
