Default Which brands make 18" drag radials?

I've only heard of BFG and Nitto making drag radials in 18's. I need 18" drag radials for my my DAILY DRIVER on 18x10 rims. After hearing about the recent blown 18" 555R Nitto tire incident, I'm thinking twice about them and that only leaves me with BFG as the brand of choice. I've heard that BFG DR's are not a good choice for a daily driver, due to the extremely short tread life and dangerously low wet-traction. Anybody know of any other brands that make 18" DRs that would suit my street driving needs?

I don't know why everybody says the BFG's are dangerous to drive in during wet conditions. The car is as safe as the driver. If you respect your cars capabilities and the weather conditions, you'll be just fine. My good buddy had 18" BFG's on his Cammed 02 Z06 and he never had problems in wet weather. He didn't even think twice about going out in the rain.

Those are the only two companies that do drags in 18". Re-read the Nitto thread by the way and check for my post.

The nittos are a better tire in the rain than the BFG. But with ANY tire on our LS1s...we have to excercise caution when driving in adverse weather conditions...period.
