How much does the Juk padding weigh?
If I remove just the juk under my carpets what will I get as far as weight? About 5 lbs?
I figure
4 juk
12 pass air bag
5 power steer pump
7 Hals
41 kmember
That takes off 70lbs and drops the car to 3543
I know I can get it to 3500 if I work on it.
What does lightwieght carpet save?
20lbs?

I thought (but I'm not sure) stock carpeting and padding was about 40 lbs. I'm putting a lightweight carpeting in that weighs less than 10 lbs.

Joel,
What I am planning on doing is removing the sound deadinging from the front seats to under just under the back seats. Then I am cutting the carpet in half so I can remove the entire back part of the carpet without having to remove the deadening. This will save you ~25 pounds over stock. Also removing my Cruise and AIR pump as well (16 pounds)
Cheers,
Chris

I just ordered lightweight carpet from Speed Inc. I don't mind if it is louder, I already have to drive with ear plugs if you know what I mean
