Colonel and myself have formed a new racers association. Right now we are still working on a site to explain everything. Please be patient with us, we hopefully will be up in a week or so explaining about the event. The event will be labor day weekend @ Montgomery Motorsports Park . Sweet deal! is this like a one time event? or more like a series...being that you called in an 'association'...

This will be a series. There will be one event this year and hopefully as many as 4-5 next year in different areas of the country.

It is called the MMRA (Modern Musclecar Racer's Association) and will be for ALL makes of late model domestic fuel injected musclecars. Yep, you'll have Mustangs, Grand Nationals, Corvette's, Vipers...and of course, F-bodies racing head to head in several different classes. This is quite common,when it was not registered with the US GOV..

MMRA is in Montgomery, AL. on 8-30 thru 9-1

Southern Shootout is in Belle Rose, LA. on 11-2

BTW - We have a club here in MN called "Modern Muscle of Minnesota". It was formed in 2000 and is for 82-up RWD cars/trucks with EFI. No Carbs whatsoever. We do make some exceptions for performance domestic FWD cars like the GTP and older cars with EFI (64 Comet with 5.0). But otherwise it's a bunch of gearheads getting together at the track,dyno or just hangin' out.
