Suggestions for new Tires on Hawk 17's?

Suggestions for new Tires on Hawk 17's? My current Firehawk tires are getting pretty damn bald which are resting on my Firehawk 17 Chromes, so I'm looking to buy a new set of four all around. Even for stock, these tires weren't the best at hooking. I don't want to spend a ridiculous price and it seems to replace these tires comes at a nice hefty price tag.
Car is a daily driver, which will be driven in rain if it comes. Any suggestions - I wasn't able to dig anything up and I don't trust recommendations on tire sites. Rather hear from people who have identities

I use my 99 hawk for a daily driver too and I am needing new tires as well. I was looking at BF Goodrich KDW's; they are only 150-170 bucks on price depending on where you look. I was also looking at firzen? Dunno exactly what they are or how much but i have heard of them.

and I was happy with them. They are cheap which will make you feel less guilty about the occasional spirited burnouts on the street.

if you want/need more traction get something other than that kuhmos. Im looking for a set of 4 tires for my new 16x8 chrome 5 spokes...im leaning towards KDWs myself, im tired of nitto drs flicking so much **** up onto my car...plus they suck major dog nuts in the rain.
