all people who went to a rear other than stock please help how much hp can the stock rear handle? and i see some people who get the 12 bolts with the traction control and w/o, is there a performance difference be wteen the two? how much hp do the 12 bolts usually handle? sorry for stupid question but which is really good but not overly priced? i want to stay street legal, im sorry for the questions i just need some help, i dont have any friends who know this kind of stuff. im trying to learn which rear to get for future mods, and what options to get on the rear, i will stay street legal though, thanks for any help

there is no performance difference between having TCS and ABS and not having them. It's just a matter of safety on the street.
A stock rear with the stock gears will take a fair amount of abuse in an A4. I've A4s break them, but for a lightly modded car or a car not running slicks, keep the stock rear until you break it.
