I am having trouble replacing/repairing the window brush on my passenger side door. Just in case your are unsure as to what I am referring to, this is the black rubber piece right at the bottom of your window (top of the door) that actually cleans water off of the outside of your window when you roll it up. My piece is starting to come out and I am wondering if the piece can be pulled out from the top or if I can slide it out parallel with the window. I am trying to get away with a quick fix rather than replacing it because its the weekend, so I would like to remove it, bend the hooks back into place and then reinstall it.

Any suggestions?
