Default sk4l60e 1/2 accum. valve

What is the correct way the valve arrangement in the 1/2 accumulator sets up?
I have the plastic piston, the atsg book and the trans go conflict in the way it goes together. does anyone have any pics of the correct way?

Generally speaking it will be spring first, then piston for a firmer shift.

But do yourself a favor and replace the piston with aluminum, if it's currently plastic!! If it is plastic it will require replacing the spring too, it should be an ovate(oval cross section) original. Replace it with a round steel type.

Jeff406cid is correct, spring first with the piston on top. The ATSG manual has the pre-1996/1997 picture.
