Default Wheel Offset?????

I have a 1998 Trans Am that I want to put a custom set of wheels on. I bought a set of Centerline wheels for it (which are for sale if anyone is interested!) that were the same size as the Ram air but the offset must not of been right because they stuck out quite a bit. So....now I am looking at buying a set of 18's and I want to know what offset I need to get in order to "tuck" the tires under the car with no rubbing. the car has been lowered
1 1/2", if that matters?! Thanks!

You need a 7.625 Backspacing with a 4.125 (max) front spacing. This is the correct size for an 11" wide wheel. If you have any more questions feel free to send me a private message.

Good luck,
Kevin

You say you want 18" wheels but you do not mention wheel width or tire sizes . . .

My recommendation:

Front, 18" x 9.5", 38mm to 40mm offset with a 275/35ZR18.

Rear, 18" x 10.5", 44mm with a 295/35ZR18

or 18" x 9.5", 38mm to 40mm offset with a 275/35ZR18 on all 4 corners if you wanna retain the ability to rotate your tires
