Question 4l60E shift kit Q

I was wondering if anyone has installed a shift kit on a 4l60E. I was wanting to on my 00' Z and wanted to know how difficult it was and if it would be worth it at all.any help appreciated.

i don't think a shift kit is needed although others on here will say other wise. But as far as installing one, I wouldn't attempt to do it yourself. I have heard even experienced trans techs that won't touch one.

Wait until you get a TC, then get the shift kit. Otherwise, let leave a stock 4L60e the way it is.
