Default To shift or not to shift

I'm putting a transgo shift kit in next week, and have a question about launches. For drag racing w/ a shift kit and a cam, tc, gears, etc., should I hold in first, second, third, or just leave it in drive? Just wondering, cause my cams power range will probably be pretty strong up around 6500.

Leave it in D or OD. Program the shift points to where they need to be.
