Which push rod, 7.40 or 7.350?

Which push rod, 7.40 or 7.350? Within the past week or two the question came up on AS 5.3 heads, what length push rod do you use? Jay told me 7.350's and others have been told 7.40's. Jay is difficult to get a hold of due to his busy schedule , however a couple of guys claim that they could access him and get an answer. Has anyone heard anything?

Some of the heads was 7.35's due to the valve length, while some was where the seats were located. The new heads that are being done now will have different valves than before and will use 7.4's in them. I spoke to Jay last week about it. Hope this helps.
